The ConvCAO group leader, Pf. Elias Kosmatopoulos, participated in the Internet Of Things Conference by Boussias Communications that took place in Athens on Monday 19th of September 2016.
Pf. Elias Kosmatopoulos pointed out the technological advances and benefits of embedding intelligence and autonomy within Internet of Things Objects and the case study results, derived by the Local4Global FP7 project.

The conference talked about the predictions and trend of the ecosystem, the regulatory framework that will determine the function and the platforms upon which business applications will be based. Lastly, the case studies that were considered important last year were presented during the conference.

Within the context of the conference Pf. Elias Kosmatopoulos was interviewed by Kostas Pliakos from CNN Greece.
