Georgios Lepidas

Georgios Lepidas received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (E.E.C.E.) at Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, in December 2022.

He recently began his Ph.D. at the Automatic Control Systems and Robotics Lab under Prof. Ilias Kosmatopoulos, focusing on automated real-time data quality assurance for energy applications using deep learning techniques.

Since November 2023, he has been a Research Associate at the Information Technologies Institute of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), where he focuses on anomaly detection, time series forecasting, and classification, particularly in smart energy systems and intelligent building management.
